About Author

Tia Byer is a former freelance journalist and writer whose work explored culture, lifestyle, and life sciences. Her writing appeared in publications including The Scotsman, The National, The Cambridge Critique, Cambridgeshire Live, Cambridge Evening News, Entertainment Now, and Opulence Magazine.

She holds an MSc in US Literature and Cultural Values from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from York St John University. Her academic research focused on Native American literature, the American Renaissance, transatlanticism, and Caribbean literature and song.
